Stephanie Castillo is a Chemist. She is originally from Venezuela, and was raised in Florida, where she began her higher education with an Associate's Degree from Valencia College in 2012. She attended University of Central Florida and earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2015. She has been attending Vanderbilt University for her Masters of Science in Chemistry in 2017 and currently working on her Ph.D, with an expected graduation in 2020.
She runs a website, Ph.uture D.octors, which focuses on "outreach and teaching, but to also bring diversity to the STEM workforce and academia through representation in media". She uses YouTube and social media to interview colleagues who are also minorities in their area of study.
