Stress Management

What is Self Care?

"Self-care refers to activities and practices that we can engage in on a regular basis to reduce stress and maintain and enhance our short- and longer-term health and well-being. Self-care is necessary for your effectiveness and success in honoring your professional and personal commitments."

What some things I can do to practice self care?

For some, practicing self care can be as simple as getting a good night's sleep, eating healthy, and checking in with yourself regularly to make sure you are feeling comfortable and content - essentially taking care of your own well-being. Each person is unique, and we all have our own set of circumstances that affects our ability to take proper care of our physical, mental, and emotional health. Use the Develop a Self Care Plan link below to walk through the steps of creating a personalized care plan suited to your personal needs.
