Engineering Technology - Mechatronics at SC4

Mechantronics hands using tablet with machine

The field of mechatronics combines elements of mechanical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, telecommunications and systems engineering for a multi-disciplinary approach to technology used in many economic sectors. Hands-on labs provide experience working on leading edge logic controllers from Siemens and Allen Bradley. Students gain technical skills needed to design, install, program, integrate, service and troubleshoot mechatronic components and systems. These skills lead to careers in hydraulics, pneumatics and automation program design.
