What is CloudSource Open Access?
The library has added a CloudSource OA platform to the current library catalog to increase and improve the library's collection of Open Access materials. This collection contains over 40 million Open Access articles and books, and also includes datasets, reports and lesson plans.
Where are the CloudSource resources?
It is built in the library's catalog with the same searching technologies, results with citation tools and licensing information. Access the Library Catalog from the library's website, enter a topic in the search field in the top of the screen
The Open Access resources can be found in the Online Resources result tab.
Filtering options can be found on the left of screen, the content can be filter by Format, Publication Date, Peer Reviewed Status, Field of Study, Publication name, Language, License, MeSH Heading, OER Course Level, OER Material Type, OER Primary Use, or Publisher.
Each Record is listed in the results list.
The yellow buttons on the left of the record allow the user to view, cite or link the resource. Select View Resource to access the full article in a PDF format, select Publisher Page to view the website the article is published on, Citation to view or copy the article's citation or select Permalink to copy the link of the article, either from the search results or the publisher website.

Information included with the resource can be found in the tabs across the top of the records and can include:
- Details including licensing information.
- Location includes various places the article may be published.
- Abstract lists a summary of the article.
- Author Notes includes information related to the author(s).
- References links articles referenced within the resource.
- Cited By links articles that have cited the resource.
- Published With includes additional resources published in the same publication.
