General Education Competencies
A college education implies, in part, the attainment of knowledge and skills in broad areas such as quantitative reasoning, communication, civic responsibility, and information literacy. This general education is included in every course to some degree, empowering our students to be productive citizens, successful employees, and lifelong learners.

Outcomes & Assessment Summary, Updated ARC 26 Feb. 2018
ARC adopted the model shown below for creating and assessing Gen. Ed. outcomes. The competencies will be the same across the board (whatever they may be) but the outcomes for transfer degrees would be determined by ARC and the outcomes for the occupational degrees would be determined by program leads. Assessment for all outcomes will be conducted by the Assessment Committee.
