Why Accessibility of Digital Resources is Important

Tutorials and structured courses focused on creating accessible digital materials.

CheatSheets – simple step by step resources to assist in creating accessible content.  From the National Center on Disability and Access to Education (NCDAE).

 

Universal Design – is a research-based set of principles to guide the design of learning environments that are accessible and effective for all.

  • CAST is a non-profit education research and development organization that works to expand learning opportunities for all learners through Universal Design principles.  Visit the website for information and tutorials on how to incorporate Universal Design principles in your teaching and learning activities.
