A subset of the National Security Archive's Cyber Vault, the Ukraine Project aims to identify, aggregate, and curate a wide array of resources that will help experts and students alike to understand and assess the cyber component of this conflict. The project has already filed dozens of declassification requests under the Freedom of Information Act, aggregated many publicly available decision documents, studies, and reports from governments and the private sector, and continues to build an in-depth timeline (see right column) tracking not only events on the virtual battlefield but policy-making developments, the emergence of new threat actors, and especially trends in expert analysis of the conflict and its implications for the cyber sphere.
