SC4 Library Services - Updates & Adjustments

Even when the library building is closed, most library resources are still available online!

All students, staff, and faculty must have visited a campus health screening location and submitted a COVID-19 self-assessment form, properly wear a face mask at all times, follow social distancing guidelines, and wear today's wristband to enter any campus building, including the library.
Books are quarantined for 7 days before we shelve them.
Seating is limited and spaced out to allow for social distancing.
Computers are arranged to allow for social distancing.
Cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer are provided. Library users are encouraged to clean surfaces before and after use.


Hours & Appointments

SC4 Library is currently operating remotely and the library facility is closed.

Librarians and staff are available for remote support:

Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Printing, Copying, & Computers

  • Printing, copying & faxing services remain temporarily suspended. Patrons with funds remaining on their print account will be able to access these funds when printing services resume. 
  • 25 socially-distanced library computers are available on the main library floor and must be reserved for use through this page
  • Computers requests are honored in the order of receipt and are available for 60 minutes. Users are asked to use provided sanitation supplies before and after computer use.

Textbooks, Reserves, & Circulating Books

  • Print reserves temporarily remain suspended. Please contact a librarian for assistance. 
  • Because most libraries are still restricting physical lending of library items, inter-library loan remains limited to electronic items only.
  • Stacks remain closed, but library staff will retrieve items from the stacks upon request.
  • All circulating items will be quarantined for 7 days before being re-introduced to the collection – may cause slight delays.
  • The library does not charge overdue fines. A drop box for book returns is available on the southwest of the College Center building. Equipment and technology should be returned to the library circulation desk when the library reopens. Contact us at if you need assistance.

Library Spaces

  • Study rooms remain unavailable at this time. Students may reserve individual study tables for up to 2 hours per day:
  • No student may stay in the library longer than 2 hours per day.
  • Information literacy sessions are available online. (Faculty, please use this form to request a session for your course:
  • No food allowed in the library at this time.
  • The drinking fountains across campus have been temporarily turned off.
  • You are encouraged to use the provided sanitation supplies to disinfect any workspace, computer, or study table before and after use.
