Tips for Selecting Books

Some tips to consider when looking for a new book to read:
  • What kinds of books do you usually like to read, or are generally drawn to? Do you like futuristic science fiction, or do you enjoy or a fast-paced thriller?
  • What have you recently read and enjoyed? Think about what you liked - the setting, the plot, the characters, etc.
  • What kinds of books do you avoid? Think about why certain books were not as enjoyable as others, or what you didn't like about them.
  • Why are you looking for a book to read? Are you in the mood to learn something new, finally read that classic novel, or get lost in a mystery?
